This event was originally started by HughesTeesandgifts. She can no longer participate due to the minimum discount for Bonanzas being raised to 15%. I agreed to take over the hosting of this event for those who still wish to participate. She has given me her blessing. Please visit her booth and show your support.
The Basic Concept
There are a bunch of us that are going to schedule a 3-hour Bonanza on the same day. That way you will have more potential clients online at the same time. I don’t know about you but I would rather go to a mall where all the stores are having a sale the same day rather than having to go to that mall 6 different days and times in order to catch the deals!

July’s Block Party totaled $1500 in sales for participants! Let’s see if we can top that for October! Promote those Halloween and Christmas items!

Q. Do I have to be a seller to shop????
A. NO
Q. How often can you have a Bonanza?
A. Every 30 days. If you can’t participate in this one,no worries, don’t panic. I want to do this every month. You can play the next Block Party if you wait to have another one. Plus I always offer a coupon code PARTY for non Bonanza participants to use & they will be placed on the final list in the thread that day. ****HOWEVER, we do not want people to use the coupon ahead of time, so please b-mail me with your percentage.****
Q. Can I choose which items i can have on sale?
A. Yes. When you go in to schedule it, the system asks which you want to use.
Q. Do I need to create a category?
A. NO. You do not. When scheduling the bonanza, there is a link just under where you have it posted within your booth. People can click there to see just the items on sale if they want.
Q. Can I have different items for different sale prices?
A. No, sorry. Bonanzle does not offer that feature.
Q. What is the best time to have a Bonanza?
A. It’s been my personal experience that the earlier Bonanzas have a higher success rate.
Q. What is considered a good discount percentage to offer during a Bonanza?
A. Generally, the higher discount Bonanzas receive more traffic. There are exceptions to this rule, of course. See Bonanzle’s take on the subject: How much should I discount.
Q. How far ahead of time should I schedule my Bonanza for the Block Party?
A. You don’t want to schedule it too far in advance because you might miss out on sales when buyers see you’re having an upcoming sale. They may or may not return to your booth later to catch the item on sale. Most likely, they will intend on waiting until it’s on sale but either forget to come back or buy it somewhere else. A week or so before the block party is a great time to schedule and promote. Some choose to wait longer and that’s okay too.
