Hello and Welcome to all who pass this way!
I grew up in the hills of Tennessee. A beautiful, peaceful place which presented us with many opportunities and many challenges.
To think about all those long gone yesterdays with it's accomplishments and dissapointments leaves me a bit melancoholy and that has driven me to find a way to recall those times.
So...I figured I'd start jotting down these fading memories I've got in my mind...the ones just sitting there gathering dust...the ones I never want to forget. I want to share some memories and try to re-capture a way of life that to some will be fantastic and other's unimaginable.
By bringing the past into the open I hope to preserve a way of life that was fondly strange, lovingly sweet, even dangerous and cruel. It was what it was and should not be forgotten or pushed aside. In the weeksto come, I may tell you a tale, spin you a yarn or give you some helpful hints in the weeks. I never know just what may pop into my head and out my mouth.
So...come by and visit when you can...set a spell, and we'll watch the sun fall behind the mountains together....
