Marketing Your Wares....Bonanzle Style

I have found that marketing yourself can be a tough task. Most times, people tend to be too reserved when it comes to promoting themselves but, find it easier to encourage & promote others. In my experience, at least that is how it has been.

I sell fine & fashion jewelry in my booth on Bonanzle.com it is the best "bay" alternative according to many folks including Business Week

There are some differences to selling on Bonanzle than anywhere else however;

1. You are encouraged to become educated in the art of self-promotion.
2. Learn about item traits, attributes and how to apply them to become more searchable by Google & other search engines..
3. People actually HELP each other on Bonanzle!! weird huh? the "competition" helping each other become successful. Sure there are a few sour folks - but am happy to say that those few are way outnumbered by the many friendly, genuine, happy, outgoing, helpful people that make up Bonanzle's community.

Yeah OK sure - it's part social network & not JUST a venue to sell or buy - but what isn't these days?....socializing via the net is not new - however the different methods that one can apply & leverage that socializing is ever evolving & growing. The more the marketplace becomes populated with same/similar items and services, the more the need for networking, advertising, socializing to just get your name out there & product or service seen.

If you're maintaining a booth on Bonanzle , you know that we're still experiencing some minor growing pains. The cool part is that the "boyz" who run the site, are ALWAYS there to answer any questions, and they are there to help pretty much right away!
I personally visualize them with their computer monitors duct taped to their foreheads or attached by some weird halo & swinging arm type of contraption and keyboards strapped to their waists not unlike a Xylophone player in a marching band.
uh...ok cut away from visual and continue....ok image fading..good..ok...better now...

Anyway...
The OTHER cool part is that they actually take our suggestions and put them into action!! improvements and added features are being added all the time!

oh and responding to "drama" (of which there is very little) is handled courteously, professionally and always fairly. Well...that's about all I have to say for now except....

Very well worded article!:) Yes, now I will have the image implanted in my lil brain about them boyz wth their monitors, the duck tape, keyboards, etc.LOL:-) I am new to bonanzle & am reaching out everywhere I can get involved at, getting my name out there, etc. I did internet sales for 5 yrs wth another place, but hate it there & luv bonanzle!!
