As are many of you, I belong to the Etsy network as well as Bonanzle.
A recent article in their newsletter today had a similar title and pointed to three things that everyone.. there or here... should keep in mind if they want to be a successful internet marketeer.
1. Take Great Pictures - the article points you to…

Quoting a recent blog post...
For those of us who have only used eBay auctions, we are not used to the way that Bonanzle works. All Buy It Now items at Bonanzle are set up as "immediate payment required" in that the buyer has to pay in order to complete the Buy It Now. If a seller does not have combined shipping set up, then buyers will not be able to make purchases for multiple item transactions.
This excellent article, posted at…

I recently created a new group called "
Shipping and Handling Discussion Group" where I hope to see some ongoing discussions about the good and bad, pluses and minuses, difficulties and ease of shipping your items.. in a way that does not end up costing YOU money.
I know that I for one end up losing money almost weekly - fortunately only small amounts - from miscalculating and misquoting the actual cost to ship my items.
If you have any thoughts on the matter.. stop on by and leave a com…

A post on Salehoo.com takes the ten reasons that Bonanzle lists on their website.. and analyzes them to see whether they deliver!
They point to the fact that Alexa shows a 182% Bonanzle sales increase over the last three months - which they say looks like the trajectory of an aircraft taking off. They also talk about the great coverage Bonanzle is getting in both t…

The following is a listing of all of our members booths on Bonanzle.
If YOUR booth is not listed, it's because you did not answer the question "What is your booth name?" when you joined - or the data was improperly formatted. Go to your My Page and enter it or fix it, and then on the next update, you will be on this list.
It is my intention to update this list at the end of each month.. or thereabouts...

Back on December 15th I wrote a blog article about our network having attained 100 members, and then on January 20th I wrote about attaining 200. Well, here it is February 21st and we are now at the 300 member mark!
It continues to amaze me that in just a few short months Bonanzle has grown to a point where more than half a million different people visit Bonanzle every month and more than one millio…

In case you may have missed it, Small Business Computing has named Bonanzle as the Best eBay Alternative and Etsy as the second place winner. Here's what the publication had to say:
The challenges of becoming a viable eBay alternative are daunting, and yet this year we saw a host of startups take on the task with gusto while other more established ones did a stellar job of gaining market share and adding new features. The runaway winner in the eBa

I may be the only one on the planet who did not know this Bonanzle booth existed (perhaps not, since it was only opened on January 31st) but Chatting sells nothing! Everything in her (his?) booth is totally free.
Their current listings include 10 FREE ITEMS as follows:
- Dozens of Buttons

A few blogs ago I showed you how to respond to the question "What is your Bonanzle Booth URL?" on your MyPage.. and to make it click-able.
Well Ning has now made some changes whereby whatever you type into that field is now automatically click-able. All you have to do is start with the www portion of the URL and Ning will make it able to be clicked by viewers.
So if you used my workaround and changed your answer to that question, you'll now need to go back and un-do your changes. Otherwise it…

Yesterday afternoon, for those of you who may have missed it, Wally Kolenda, better known as "Auction Wally" ran what I believe was the very first LIVE Auction on Bonanzle!
Wally, for those of you who don't know him, is a licensed Massachsetts auctioneer who’s been building a brand online for quite a while now. If you Google AuctionWally, you’ll see what I mean... or you can visit his homepage here.…

Well so much for my idea of creating a separate photo album for Personal Photos.
After discussing it with the "The Team" at Ning, I find out that it can not be done. I thought that I had created one... but upon digging in a bit, and talking to Ning staff, I found that it really was a personal photo album on my own personal "My Page"... not one that would show up on the main page of this network, or one that everyone could contribute to. Basically, Ning allows one Network photo album, and…

A tweet from a friend who uses Twitter as much as I do recently pointed me to a new service called "The Bonz" - a redirector service masterminded by a fellow named Eric Burke.
Eric points out thatEverything about Bonanzle is simple with just one exception, the name. Bonanzle is by far the easiest site to set up on and list your products for sale, but if you meet someone at a flea market or a restaurant an

Someone recently posted:gosh, I sell and am interested in all these groups...Which ones do I pick ?
I am getting a bit concerned that we may be fragmenting too much. At present we have 17 groups - everything from Books to Jewelry and Watches to Ephemera to Vintage/Antique Glass - so for a bit I am going to implement a moratorium on approving new groups.
Go ahead and create whatever grou…
