A bit about Ilene

Ilene
retired from the United States Air Force in 1982 and continued
working for a defense contractor for the next 13 1/2-years. After
the death of her husband in 1990 she decided to return home to
Mississippi.
Once back home she got interested in the internet and found herself
spending hours and hours per day just surfing around. And then she
discovered eBay. She bought a few things on line and thought, "well
shoot, I should be able to do this." She borrowed her
brother-in-law's digital camera and listed a few things that sold.
She was hooked on online auctions!
Then in 2006, after beating colon cancer, she decided to get
serious. That's when she found Bonanzle. She still lists on eBay
because in the month or so she's been listing on Bonanzle she
hasn't sold anything. But she is ever confident that sales will
pick up as the economy improves.
Ilene sells whatever she can find at yard sales, estate sales and
auctions. She's had some amazing finds and some good sales. "It's
amazing what you can find digging around in someone's junk shop."
Her latest finds were an 1894 Scribner's Magazine and three
National Geographic Magazines; 1 from 1938 and 2 from 1918. And
she's got about 3000 old vinyl LPs that she has to list.
Needless to say she is Busy, busy, busy!
Stop by and visit her booth.
