Big double barrel carburetor...any ideas?

Well it looks like a single barrel side draft carb to me. It could be off anything. A lot of English and Europian cars used side draft carbs. SORRY I couldn’t be of more help.

She also sort of explained the side draft thing to me...not that I totally understand-ha ha. I know about quite a few carbs but this one is funny looking to me :)

oh, I thought it was a double barrel but I realize now that was a mistake. I'll change that!
