Vintage Autos & Auto Parts

There is a big market for vintage cars and parts on both the East and West coast (perhaps also in the middle) This group is for the discussion of both the sale and purchase of these, often high ticket, items.

I've listed some more vintage auto parts and some interesting VW parts and other general parts that might be more valued for their packaging-ephemera, are listed in Limbo-$1 minimum offers plus shipping-great deals on fun & useful items!

Hello Maria! Welcome. We as of today, have 4 Excellent members :) Need more, need more.
I had a Merkur on the lot when I had a car business. I can't recall what year it was, but I don't think it was a turbo. Good idea being a member of Merkur car clubs-and lucky you to have a brother with the same car. Gosh...I dream of having a mechanic relative (that I enjoy being around-lol) My brother is a great mechanic, but we butt heads all the time so I don't ask him ?'s anymore. I have had quite a few mechanics as partners or employees or boyfriends in the past and I'm a firm believer in trying to fix and replace things on cars at home or at least try.

I listen to a Gregs Japanese Auto Car show on the radio every Saturday morning. I'm a longtime Toyota 4runner owner and the Gregs show is excellent.
Identifying vintage parts is my greatest struggle. I am pretty good at researching and guessing, but sometimes I just need a second or 3rd opinion.
Right now I have a lot of vintage VW parts and I'm getting help from European Goodies son in Germany, a Bonanzle buyer Gorgi, in Australia and a few other Bonanzle members. I graciously take corrections in my listings and appreciate all the help I can get.
I just had a vintage "coil" in my booth that I was corrected on. It's actually a starter Solenoid for a GM (or other) lol. I knew that-I just got a little overwhelmed and threw in the wrong name-it's ok..
Anywho, please invite your friends to our group. There are great things that come in numbers in these groups.

Hello everyone, I'm new here and still trying to find my way around. I drive a rather rare, seldom heard of car, a 1987 Ford Merdur XR4TI Turbo. Anybody familiar with it?

I'm not mechanically savvy, I have my brother who is also a Merkur owner to look after that for me. We are members of two Merkur car clubs and our members are always looking for parts. Some of them have been selling on Ebay.... so I will get the word out to them about Bonanzle and hopefully we will have more members here.

How many members do we have on this group? Anyone know? I haven't figured out out to find out who the members are yet, or make friends with them? Told you I'm new and a little Tech challenged. OhOh, just found where to join this vintage/classic car group! So I'm here now and see we have 4 members. Hope I didn't make any faux paux by posting this on the main Wall and here on the Vintage car wall.

Thanks for starting this group...looking forward to being part of it.

Does anyone(all you hundreds of members here) have any idea what car that mirror down below might belong to?

Yep, thanks Tom, it's a good thing and then the other bay watcher of the mirrors wanted to know where they went and I gave him my email to keep him up on what I'm listing next and bring him to Bonanzle!

Congratulations Pam. As the economy improves (it is doing that, right?) then we will hopefully see more and more buyers at Bonanzle.

I'm glad you have made this sale!

I sold the Bosch Porsche 356 headlights and the VW roundhead side mirrors today-made a great deal to a bay buyer who came to Bonanzle! Headlights were selling for $350 a pr on the bay and I sold them for $75 each on Bonanzle so hopefully people will come back. People are dying to find better places to buy rare or vintage auto parts than on the bay.

Vintage VW Body Parts are selling fast on the bay and Bonanzle if I can get people from the bay to bonanzle. It's cheaper to sell on Bonanzle overall so I'd rather people buy there.
