Right now I am not thinking about selling my Elvis memorabila. It is such a large collection and I will probably sell it as such with all the scrapbook items and the records and photos combined. Sothebys Auction has shown an interest in selling it as an estate item as well as Heritage Auctions.
So I will have to have the entire collection appraised first.

Just an OBTW . . . my sister claims there is no better traveling companion than Elvis' gospel music. I agree that he did a really wonderful job on gospel music.

And we are now THREE! Welcome, Sherry. If you're interested in selling your Elvis records and need a starting price, go to www.gemm.com. It's a music/book sale site, that I think has been acquired by Amazon. Anyway, I use them all the time to decide what to charge for a record rather than look at that teeny, tiny print in the price list books. Elvis was KING and still retains that title. Each year a new wave of fans appear on the scene. Happy, Monday, all.

One of my favoirte celebrities.
Growing up in the 50's and following his career was one of my pasions.
I have a scrapbook full of letters from all the Elvis Fan Clubs that I joined, newpaper articles, tickets from the movies I attended, personal photographs that I took of Elvis in person, autographs including a photo with autographs of everyone in his band on the back of the photo. Have old 45 records as well as LP's. Most of my collection is Early Elvis not the later one in Las Vegas.
I also have a special 45 record titled "Elvis Sales"..The Press Interviews Elvis.
It was not widly sold so this is a real treat. The were interviewing him when he joined the army and was sailing to Europe. I have one copy that I have played and another copy that has never been played. Both in mint condition and in orginal album covers. I will try to get some photos up soon.
