The Bonanzler's Network

Buyers and Sellers of Everything but the Ordinary

I know a lot of people list things on muti venues, but I've avoided that simply because of the upkeep. BUT........with sales soooooooooo slow and nothing moving here on Bonanzle, I'm going to try multi listing...........by that, I mean listing the very same item on multi venues.

Does anyone here have success with that? And do you price differently for different venues?

Help a poor starving seller out............LOL, share your insight.

The Jewelry I sell can not be listed in more venues. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind. Hand made.
But the Toys and Tools, I list everywhere.
If success is measured in sales, the answer is yes. But it does take lot of work and time. Dont expect to get rich over night.

I am talking about unique items and listing them (the same thing...........for instance a vintage dress or bag) on 2 different venues. EVERYTHING we sell is unique and one of a kind to us. (with a few possible exceptions LOL)

I am listing some things on 4 sites right now. It IS a pain. The big thing is making sure you take it off everywhere if you sell it. ;-)
Oh, and I've been making the prices the same everywhere.
I'm glad you brought this up, I was wondering, also.

I list on both Bonanzle and Etsy and even eBay. I usually keep the prices the same so I don't get confused. You have to be careful though so you don't end up selling the same item to two different people. It can be tricky, but you can do it. What you can also do is list some items on one venue and other items on another venue. Don't list the same items on two venues. That way you don't have the problem of double selling an item. I take a real chance doing the same items on two venues, but I'm getting desperate here. I know what you mean by sooooooooooooooooooooo slow and not selling anything on Bonanzle, but eBay and Etsy aren't doing much better right now. I hope this helps.

The market just sucks right now and I think eveyone needs to readjust their thinking about how we are doing things.

I list on about 6 different venues and to date have avoided listing the same item in 2 or more places (due to the odds of sell the same item twice)................but.........I'm beginning to think it would be worth the time and effort (and possible apologies) to just SELL something.

This is the lowest our sales have been since we started in 2000.

So I'm glad to see there are others in this same situation and to hear how you are handling it.

I have 2 web sites, and just recently started selling on Bonanzle and Blujay. My 2 web sites have always had the same things, but now I am listing on all 4. Haven't sold anything on Bonanzle or Blujay yet, however. :-)

I have my items duplicated on both Bonanzle and Ebay, when I sell an item I immediately delete it from the other site. I just opened a Vendio store and added the items that I had on Bonanzle only being that there is a link on there for my Ebay store. Business is slow you ya gotta do whatcha gotta do

I am listing on several sites as well and its the same exact items. I list on Bonz, Ebay, Ecrater, Blujay and my own website! I hadnt ever had a sale on blujay and just made one the other day and had to figure out what the heck it was, so it does get a little confusing, BUT like it has been mentioned, with sales being as slow as they are, you gotta do what ya gotta do! I do check each site daily and remove or put on hold the items that sell, but I have duplicates of alot of things so that does help. AND I have been hit with the dreaded double sale once, it turned out ok, thats the only time it has happened. Glad to see im not the only one doing this either!

I personally do not have to worry about double listing.
I make all of my products in multiples.

Just thinking statistically, with the market being so slow.
You would have plenty of time to remove an item from your other venues.
I would list in many places but keep tabs on whats moving and act accordingly.

I too list in several venues... and all at the moment are basically dead. The market is slow slow slow!

As others have said, listing in several venues can be a bit of a nightmare if you are not vigilant and immediately remove them from other places.. once the one of a kind items sell. But it can be done. I have not yet (fingers crossed) double sold anything.

We are all, I'm afraid, starving sellers at the moment... but with a bit of hard work, and an improvement in the economy, things will get better... I HOPE !

I also list on multiple venues, so far I have had no trouble with two sales on the same item at them same time. If the market picks up I may reconsider this, but at the moment I am just happy to have a sale.

I seem to have ended up on quite a few selling sites:Blujay, Etsy, Bonanzle, eBay, craigslist, SeeAuctions, eCrater (I think), ioffer, bisi (buyitsellit) I think that's everything. Have only had sales on Bonanzle, eBay, craigslist, bisi. I think it's time to do some weeding for my sanity's sake. Never had a double sale thank goodness, but I do try to check every site when there is a sale to delete the item. I must be a sales addict, because everytime I see a new inexpensive interesting venue I want to sign up, lol. Need to attend SA (Sellers Anonymous) I guess!

Unfortunately with everything going on I have started branching out. Right now I list on Bonanzle at two booths and on Amazon. Cross listing can be a pain for sure. But in todays economy it is vital to get your items seen and one venue is not going to give that exposure.
