Another Hand Picked List question

I can't figure out how the HPLs are selected for the home page. Seems that every time I sign on, sometimes several times a day, the same HPLs show up. I'd like to see one of my HPLs on the home page of course, but that is not my question. This morning we have:

This is about 5-minutes of hitting the refresh button. I, personally, get tired of the same old lists. Let's have some different lists!!!!!!

Anyone know how they are chosen for the home page?

I think the boyz pick the lists but don't know how they are chosen. I do know the item pictures have to be good for the list.

I've never had any of my lists chosen for the homepage even though I've had good comments regarding them. Some members even have stated that they were home page quality. But still, I wasn't selected. Oh well, I had fun creating them anyway. Here are my most recent ones if you're interested.
